When FOX's 'The O.C.' moved to Thursday nights this season ratings dropped off a little and it seems producers know exactly just the route to go to pump those ratings back up. Website TVgasm.com reports that 'The O.C.' is slated for a girl-girl kissing scene this fall featuring 18-year-old actress Mischa Barton, who plays alcoholic teen Marissa on the show. Although reps for FOX wouldn't confirm the report, they didn't deny it either. Lesbians seem to be a proven ratings winner, as sitcom 'Ellen' extended its lifespan when it's lead character came out and even 'Buffy' saw a ratings spike when good witch Willow, portrayed by Alyson Hannigan, decided she wanted to be more than just friends with Tara. If the girl-girl kiss does happen expect it in May during the sweeps period.

It should be noted that Barton was featured in an earlier girl-girl kiss with Evan Rachel Wood when both girls were about 14-years-old.
