Chyler Hangs On, Others Out of 'Practice'
Imagine you're the star of a TV show that's hanging on the edge of cancellation after your network moved you to a new timeslot this season. At the eleventh hour that network, announces you will be renewed and moved back to your old timeslot. They even parade you and your fellow castmates out in front of the press. The show is the legal drama 'The Practice' and the network is ABC. But this story doesn't have a happy ending. Just one week after the network got all of the show's castmembers up on stage to milk every ounce of publicity they could out of renewing the show it's been announced that most of the show's cast has been let go.

Most shocking is the departure of the series' star Dylan McDermott, who played Bobby Donnell, the head of 'The Practice's fictional law firm. Also on the chopping block are the babelicious Lara Flynn Boyle, Lisa Gay Hamilton and Chyler Leigh, who also found herself out of work last year after the David E. Kelley series, 'girl club', which she stared in was axed by FOX after just three episodes. Apparently Kelley was so impressed with the young actress that he moved her over to his other show, 'The Practice'.
